You get what you need
Day 88 / 365
I have not been my most optimistic self lately. This year, my goal is to keep pushing myself past my limits so that I can grow. That means that I am failing a lot. I know it's part of it, and it's expected, but still doesn’t feel that good.
But one thing still continues to surprise me. The thing about keep failing until you try is not a cliche. Whenever I have chosen not to give up on a problem, even after multiple failures, stuff just seems to work out in the end.
There are projects that I felt like quitting on the first day. I never thought I would be able to last even a week. And yet a month later, I am still at it. It’s still tough, I still don’t know what I am doing half the time. I still think every day that I should quit. But somehow, just by the sheer fact that I haven’t quit yet, things seem to sort themselves out.
Just refuse to give up on failure. It sucks, I know. Giving up is so easy. But don’t do that. Just survive this day and move on to the next.
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometime you’ll find
You get what you need
