Day 101 / 366

Today’s blog is gonna be a short one. I sprained my neck badly today. It was still manageable, I could still move around. But later in the evening, I sneezed, which made it so much worse that I was immobile for a while. Any young people reading this, please do some stretching and yoga. You will thank me when you get to 30.

Just yesterday I was boasting about how less stressful it has become for me to write these blogs, and how cocky I was declaring that I never keep any backup blogs ready to post when I can’t write a new one. I think the universe decided to give me a reality check. It took me a painkiller, an ice pack, and loads of Volini to get me to sit up and write this blog before midnight.

It’s times like these that I am reminded that despite what I would want to believe, I am just a mortal. And that your mind and your body are your greatest assets. You need to take really good care of them.

It sucks cause I had a really good topic for the blog today. For the past 2 days, I have been interviewing candidates for my company and I had some insights about the hiring process that I wanted to write about. I guess it will have to wait till tomorrow.
