Most modern websites are built in a way that if the traffic increases, the servers scale up to handle it. Other services also follow a similar process.

If there is a large Queue for billing at a store, they would add another counter. If a movie is getting sold out, they would add more shows.

I wonder why we don’t work the same way.

When I get overwhelmed with Tasks, I just shut down. I start doing less instead of doing more. I just wait and hope things will get better on their own.

But that is not how the world works.

No external person or thing is going to get you out of this mess. If you want things to get better, you will need to start working.

Maybe your 100% is not enough. But guess what, your 0% is worse. You need to continue putting in all the effort that you can. You need to slowly chip away at the task. Soon enough you will find that window of opportunity where you will be able to catch up to it.

You need to act. Stopping is not an option.
