High Risk - High Reward

Day 261 / 366

Many people who know me might disagree, but I am a big fan of taking stupid risks. As long as my gut instinct tells me to go for it, I most probably would. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don’t. But all of those risks and those outcomes have contributed to getting me where I am right now, so I have zero regrets.

As you grow old, you start to realise how small life really is. The world has been going round and round for millions of years, and you get a chance to live maybe 60–70 years on it. And all the phases of your life, be it your childhood, your teens, or your adult years, you get to live only once. So I think that taking stupid risks is fine. If there is something in life that your heart tells you to go far, it would be far more stupid to not pursue it.

When you are on your deathbed, you regret more about the things you didn’t do than about the things that you did do. So it’s better to just do what you want.

With high risks come high rewards. And I would continue to go for those. I refuse to play it safe.
