Day 336 / 365

Most of the fruits and vegetables we have today look nothing even close to their original natural versions. For instance, this is how a watermelon used to look like in the 17th century

But now we have used science and experimentation to make these fruits “better” for us. In Japan, you can easily find seedless watermelons. In the US the bananas would be spotless and bright yellow.

Another recently modified fruit is the ‘Cosmic Crisp Apple’. This would be coming to the stores in the US this December. So what’s so great about this version of the apple?

These apples were developed in Washington State University. They have been bred to be both firm and crisp. It’s also larger and juicier. Also, don’t you hate it if you keep cut apples out and they turn brown? The Cosmic Crisp apple is made to have a higher level of acidity, so it would brown much more slowly than a regular apple.

Hell this apple even has a trailer of its own

I can’t wait for them to release Cosmic Apple Plus next year.
