Coding for everyone

Day 249 / 366

Back when I was in college, when I started to learn coding, it was not the cool thing to do. Unless you were studying computer science you would not bother looking up how to build websites or mobile applications. I remember during placements some of my friends said that they were not applying for coding jobs because they “didn’t want to sit in front of the computer all day”

Almost a decade later, the times have changed. Not only is knowing how to code an advantage, but in some areas, it is a must-have. No-code tools and ChatGPT can only get you so far. My vision is that in the near future, coding will be a skill as commonly required as using email or word.

This is why I want to focus on looking for solutions to bring coding to the masses. And the way to do that is to make people fall in love with coding just like I did when I was in college. They have to be introduced to coding in a way that's not intimidating, kind of what I tried to achieve with my Javascript tutorials
