Behold the fowls of the air
Day 255 / 365
I’m not much of a religious person, but today I came across this verse from the bible that I found really inspiring
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Translated in layman's terms, this is what the verse means — You don’t need to get worried sick about whether you’ll get enough food, whether you’ll make enough money. Just leave it up to the god. Think of the birds in the sky. They don’t farm, they don’t go to offices to collect their salaries. Yet they get by right? If God takes care of them, why won’t he take care of you as well?
Now I what take from this verse is that no matter what happens, life goes on. We get so caught up in our little problems, we think that it’s the end of the world. If you are in school, your worst fear might be that you will fail. Yet if you look around, there are lots of people who failed school yet they did achieve something with their lives.
You might fear to lose your job, or accumulating debt, or being homeless. But loads others have gone through worse, and come out ok.
The universe has a way of working things out, have faith in the universe. It will surely take care of you.
