Day 266 / 365

Today is an important day. There are now exactly 100 days left for the year 2019 to end if you count today as well. These milestones, like the new year, or your birthday, or the beginning of a new semester are great opportunities to improve yourself. Now you must have made new year resolutions for 2019, and chances are that most of them didn’t materialize. But here it is your second chance, with 100 days left you can think of a mini version of the resolution and start today!

So what can you do in 100 days?

You can pick up reading. Even if you just read 10 pages a day, you can comfortably finish 4 books. If you don’t have any particular book in mind, I will suggest these four

  • The Kite Runner
  • Rich Dad Poor Dad
  • The Alchemist
  • A Christmas Carol

You can pick up meditation. I would suggest using the headspace app. You can start with as little as 3 minutes a day. If you carry on for 100 days you will definitely build that up to 15–20 minutes.

Or just pick up any other habit. 100 days is a long time to make a habit stick. Just break it down to the most basic and easy step that you can do daily for the next 100 days. Treat it as a warm-up for 2020. Instead of starting from scratch next year, you will be well prepared.

So don’t waste time, make sure you end 2019 with a bang!
