Day 166 / 366

It’s June and it feels like half the year is gone. But then I look at the day number in my blog and realize that there are still 200 days to go! Think of all the great things you could do in 100 days. If you start today, you can get 2 of them done before the year ends.

Which made me think that I should have a 100-day plan. Starting tomorrow, I can choose to work on something, for the next 100 days. I can keep track of my progress, and have proper milestones in place.

My first thought is to start running. But I think that would be taking the easy route. I used to run a lot, and I know I will pick it up again quickly. A 100 days of running would be good, but the achievement would not give me that much joy.

But I have something better in mind. I play the guitar. I got a few lessons when I was in school but after that, I have pretty much learned it on my own. But I stopped getting better at it after the 1st year, and since then I pretty much at the same level. And I have not made any attempts to get better because it feels too tough.

If in 100 days, I am able to play the guitar better, I think that would be pretty sweet. So that is what I’m going to do. I am going to do some research, make a plan, and start tomorrow. And I will keep putting in the effort each day for the next 100 days.
